Bazin and Historical/Industrial Changes

The third of our learning goals is for students:

« to be able to describe historical or industrial changes in cinematic adaptation.

In both of Bazin’s essays, he makes reference to the histories of cinema, the novel, and theater to explain how they have been associated in the past and how they are associated today. Spend 5-7 minutes identifying 2-3 specific places Bazin makes an argument about historical or industrial changes in cinematic adaptation. Then, write for 5-7 minutes to describe these changes in your own words.
